Curators preparing to sell paid seats, workshops, classes, or experiences.
I want to connect Stripe so I can receive payouts from paid events.
Stripe is the payout layer for paid events
HereNow can help you create and manage paid events, but the sensitive payout setup belongs in Stripe. That keeps bank details, identity checks, tax forms, and payout schedules inside the payment provider rather than inside ordinary event editing screens.
Connect payouts before you rely on a paid event launch. You can still draft a paid event page first, but checkout and payouts should not be treated as ready until Stripe status is clear.
Connect payouts
The exact Stripe questions can vary by country, account type, and verification state.
Open payment settings
Go to Settings and open the Payments section. This is where HereNow should show your plan, paid ticket eligibility, and Stripe payout status.
Start the Stripe Connect flow
Use the connect or onboarding action from payment settings. You should be taken to Stripe for identity, business, tax, and bank details.
Complete Stripe requirements
Provide the information Stripe requests. Do not send payout documents, bank details, passwords, or recovery codes through support chat or email.
Return to HereNow
After the Stripe flow, return to HereNow and refresh payment settings if needed. Your account may show ready, pending, or action required.
Recheck before publishing paid tickets
Before you promote a paid event, confirm that paid ticketing is available and that Stripe does not show unresolved action items.
Common payout states
Before selling paid seats
Your curator profile is complete.
Paid ticketing is available for your account.
Stripe payout status is ready or has no blocking action.
Ticket price, quantity, and currency are correct.
Refund and transfer expectations are written on the event page.
You know that payout timing is controlled by Stripe, not guaranteed by HereNow.
Security rule
Never share bank details, Stripe login credentials, tax IDs, or identity documents in ordinary support messages. Use the hosted Stripe flow for sensitive payout setup.
FAQ
Does HereNow store my bank account information?
Bank and payout details should be handled by Stripe Connect. HereNow should only receive account status information needed to support paid events.
Why does Stripe ask for more information later?
Stripe may request additional verification because of country rules, payout limits, account changes, risk checks, disputes, or tax requirements.
Does connecting Stripe guarantee I can sell paid tickets immediately?
No. You still need paid ticket eligibility, a ready event setup, and no blocking payout or account requirements.
